| Knowing the balance of your putter may just unlock the secret to improve your putting. Firstly check the balance of your putter by holding it across your fingers as shown. A "Face Balanced" Putter will remain in a square position. A "Heel ? Toe" Putter will see the toe of the club drop a little, where a "Toe Balanced" putter will see the toe of the club pull downwards. Each club has an ideal path in order to ensure the ball rolls "End ? over ? End". Now that you have found the balance of your putter the style of the path should be suited to that putter. The Face Balanced is more suited to a very Square to Square pendulum path. The other two models have more weight towards the toe and should see a slight opening and closing of the putter face during the stroke ? "Let the Toe Go!" Remember whatever style you adopt the putter face should always be square to the target at the point of impact. Try it and see ? you may just get the ball rolling better and holing more putts.
